BAY WINDOWS

BAY WINDOWS

A grandiose view to the outside! Bay windows give you the impression that you are communing with your environment.

They are made of three parts: the central part and the two sidelights. The central part is usually larger than the sidelights and it is in fixed position.

The sidelights are shuttered aeration units.

They are at angles of 30, 45 or 60 degrees.

The fixed horizontal projection of the window is generally 457mm (18”) or 610mm (24”).

Bay windows are either built with an overhang or, ideally, secured in a wall opening.

The intermediate mullions are made in order to minimize their width and maximize the windowed area.

BOW WINDOWS

Bow windows are comprised of 4 or 5 sections of equal dimensions.

The central sections are fixed, while the sidelight sections are shuttered aeration units.

The maximal horizontal projection of bow windows is generally 457mm (18”) or 610mm (24”).

Bow windows are either built with an overhang or, ideally, secured in a wall opening.
