Founded in 1961, Entreprises Marchand distributed prebuilt steel chimneys and garage doors. Over the years, a variety of windows were added to our product lineup.

In 1979, while the two founders were retiring, Mr. Michel Hébert, one of the founders’ sons, reoriented the company and concentrated on quality in order to better serve precise conceptual needs.

Subsequently, Entreprises Marchand developed doors and windows of superior quality. It did not take long for this to be noticed by construction professionals and, of course, consumers that demanded durable, esthetically pleasing and high-performance products.

Creators of the mixed material concept: aluminium – fibreglass – wood, they are the first Canadian manufacturers to integrate such high-performance construction in their products.

Marchand uses fibreglass sections made through the pultrusion technique that guarantee strong structural components, allowing for sleek stiles and frames that permit more light to reach the inside of your home and gives them the best thermal insulation on the market.

As for the interior wood, Marchand uses glued-laminated and veneered parts in order to guaranty a uniform appearance and to reduce the use of the resource.
